9 lovely carrots each in a unique colour and each sitting in round base (of the same colour) numbered 1 to 9. Once taken out of the learning board, the carrots and bases will need to be matched up again by the children. They can do this by matching the colour, or by matching the number on the carrot with the number on the base. To add reinforcement to the number being equal to a quantity the numbers on carrots are shown in Arabic lettering and the bases have dots on them. Children will love to handle the realistic carrots with their leafy tops and whilst doing so, will improve their counting and sequencing skills and their observation of colour matching.
